What we know about life…
1. It’s really hard sometimes, and you need help.
2. It’s great sometimes, and you want to help.
These two points are really the basis of why charities were started. There was a need and an inherent desire to fill that need. After all, the word Charity is defined as: an organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need.
I, along with my husband Sean, have been fortunate to support many organizations through time, talent, and treasure. We have served as board of directors for organizations like Hesed House (homeless shelter) and Tri-City Family Services (mental health services), as well as school related groups; Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence (funding grants for educational experiences) and Batavia Music Buffs (funding an award-winning music program).
In addition to acting as board members, our family has been fortunate enough to donate time & treasure to Little Friends (autism), Golden Years (feeding lonely elderly), Leukemia Research Foundation, Helping Hands, Cal’s Angels (children with cancer), Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, Northern Illinois Foodbank and various other organizations.
Because supporting charities is so important to our family, it seemed natural that I combine my passion for giving back to the community with my business. That is why the Homes by Sebold team has decided to donate $250 to a charity of YOUR choice for every referral we receive from you!
